I get to visit with Lia. By this time, she had burrowed all the way down to the middle of the swaddling blankets. The room was very warm, but not nearly as warm as her previous 9-month environment.

After our initial visits with Lia, they took her away to torture her (blood tests, etc.). She then came back for an evening visit with all of her family and friends.
Grandpa got to hold her first, although she was sleeping at this time.

Aunt Emily was able to hold Lia next.

All of her big brothers got to hold her now. When the nurse brought Lia in, she said that all children under the age of 14 that were not siblings had to leave the room. When she found out that Lia was #5, she almost fainted.
Alex was first in line to wash his hands and hold the baby. He was very careful to support her head and hold on tightly.

Joey wanted to hold the baby too. Basically, there are 3 other sets of hands under Lia making sure he doesn't forget to hold on.

We promised Becky that this time we wouldn't take any pictures of her before she was able to take a shower. This is her first approved publication photo. I think they both look absolutely gorgeous.
