Dimmed lighting, Candles flickering.
A hot bath with bubbles up to my nose.
Jazz is softly playing, Wine glass within reach.
Relax, lean back and enjoy being alone.

But even now in this still and quiet time,
It's possible to not have a peace.
For peace is something that only God can give.
No matter where or when or why or how,
Only God can grant us peace.

Traffic stopped dead, There's an accident.
You're late and your meeting must start on time.
Horns are loudly blaring, People swearing up a streak.
You're tense, on edge, and starting to see red.

But even now in this loud and crazy time,
It's possible for you to have a peace.
For peace is something that only God can give.
No matter where or when or why or how,
Only God can grant us peace.
